The Ministry Continues in Trinidad

More than 18 years ago, I left Trinidad with $32 in my pocket. It has been one of my dreams to go back and make an investment in the land that birthed me physically and spiritually.  This year, God blessed me to bring 150-plus people to Trinidad from May 25-28 for ministry and mission during TriniFest 2k16!

TriniFest 2k16 featured three powerful worship services that were held at Deliverance Temple Church and Jesus Elam International Church.  The lecture by Dr. Celeste Owens and the sermons by myself and Dr. Jamal Bryant focused on the process of moving from dancing with broken emotions and painful memories to finding healing and deliverance not only physically, but also emotionally and psychologically. There are some things that God wants to clean out of us because we can’t take them to the next level!

I personally want to thank everyone who has sowed a seed in support of this important mission work, which is ongoing. Thanks to your support, we were able to distribute nearly 90 backpacks of school supplies to economically disadvantaged children from my native village of Laventille during TriniFest 2k16. But the response was so strong that when we left Trinidad, there were still more than 100 additional children who did not receive backpacks.

Your purchase of TriniFest 2k16 products will help us to provide the remaining backpacks to the kids when I return to Trinidad in August.  You can order the TriniFest 2k16 CD and DVD sets online at You also can make a donation online. All contributions are tax deductible.

Thank you for helping us to bring the Gospel to Trinidad and encourage future Daughters and Sons of Thunder!  We will be returning for TriniFest every other year, so I invite you to start making plans now to join me in two years for TriniFest 2k18 on May 23-27!

When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade!

This month, I celebrated my first Mother’s Day at Victory Grace Center, the ministry that I gave birth to eight months ago. God blessed me with a powerful message for mothers that was partially inspired by Beyoncé’s new project, “Lemonade.” In this life you will be served “lemons” – sour and unpleasant experiences – but if anybody knows how to take those lemons and make lemonade, it is mothers.

To learn the four sIMG_20160513_155629tages one may go through to make something sweet out of a bad situation, I invite you to order my “Lemonade” sermon. You will see that your breakthrough is inside of you! And that’s why I also recently preached a series on “Spring Cleaning” – because we all have some stuff we need to get rid of so God can move us to the next level. Both are available for purchase online at

Also, on May 25-28, more than 125 people will be traveling with me to my home country of Trinidad for TriniFest 2k16!  Please keep us lifted in your prayers and consider partnering with us.  Your gift of $32 will help us to bring the Gospel to Trinidad, and the proceeds from any purchases you make in my online store at also will support this exciting mission trip.

My theme for my recent mission trip was “I’m going back to give back.” And while in Trinidad, I traveled throughout the country and to Tobago preaching the Word of God and then hosted the Dancing with Broken Bones 2015 conference, but we also gave back tangibly. I hosted a Community Day and we distributed nearly 100 backpacks full of school supplies to students attending the Shekinah Christian Academy operated by the Laventille Open Bible Church, where I first got saved.

The mission trip is only the beginning. I have a God-sized vision for Trinidad. So by God’s grace, I will return next May 25-30 for “TriniFest 2016,” hosting delegates from the United States and from around the Caribbean as we celebrate what God is doing on this great island!

My God-sized vision for Trinidad includes:

  • Continuing to provide backpacks and school supplies for the most economically challenged students, teachers and schools
  • Establishing a scholarship in my late mother’s name for a female student and one in my late nephew’s name for a male student
  • Purchasing a warehouse in Trinidad to serve as a thrift shop for needy households
  • Creating an all-girls academy to provide a safe, empowering place for other Daughters of Thunder… and much more.

Thank you to everyone  who has given a seed in support of the mission work, which is ongoing. To help me continue to be a blessing to the people of Trinidad, prayerfully consider partnering with us and making a donation online at All contributions are tax deductible.

And make plans now to join me next year for TriniFest 2016!

Help Me Help the Island of Trinidad Today!

I have an urgent request for your prayers and your willingness to partner with me. I am asking that you pray for seven days — May 24-30 — while I and the team that is traveling with me are on the ground in Trinidad doing ministry. Pray that we will be able to make a complete turnaround in the lives of people who need our help.

I am also asking that 360 of you sow a one-time seed of $32 by Friday, May 22, as a financial investment into the lives of the people in my home country.

You may have heard my testimony. I grew up in an impoverished village on the island nation located off of Venezuela’s coast in the Southern Caribbean, where I had endured much before immigrating to the United States with only $32 in my pocket.

I am now preparing to go back to give back!

To support the Trinidad Mission, I ask that you donate $32 or more online at All contributions are tax deductible.

Thank you in advance for partnering with me with your financial gift and for covering this mission with your prayers. Your prayers and generosity will have a tremendous impact on the people of Trinidad, and I know that you too will be blessed!

Partner with Dr. Jazz on Global Missions

Many of you have asked how you can support Dr. Jazz and her team as they travel  to Trinidad May 24-30 to distribute school supplies and provide other services. We invite you to partner with Dr. Jazz Ministries with a $32 seed to support a school supplies drive for the children in her native country.

Your seed will support Dr. Jazz Ministries’ Global Missions in its jazz32logo-300x275efforts to touch the lives of young girls on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, who face poverty and hardship every day. The effort also helps to provide daily necessities such as food and clothing to the disadvantaged.  Many more are in need of our help and together we will make the difference in the lives of millions.

When you partner with us, you are providing support for a variety of outreach programs in addition to Global Missions. We will release details soon on two additional partnership programs: Deborah’s Army and Daughters and Sons of Thunder.

Join Dr. Jazz in this move of God and partner today!
